Replacing the bulb in headlamp of 2005 vw super beetle convertible. solution please. need process steps

know issue, the dealer has some stronger clips, if it still does it use some super glue to keep the clips from poping off.

There are two spring clips located under the hood around each headlamp housing. Open both clips and extract the headlamp housing from the front of the car by pulling the plastic assembly by grabing the edges by the black rubber seal. The entire headlamp housing will pull out from the front bumper enough to allow you to change the bulbs. Repeat procedure and clip the spring clamps back in place.

open hood then remove plastic around required lamp then remove wire & bulb clip remove bulb then insert new one and replace clip put cover on again and your done easy.

Are you still looking for help with replacing headlights for 2005 VW.
If so , I have to replace mine tomorrow , I can photograph the process if that helps..

replace the bulb it is a double bulb so it will still work on tail lights but not brake lights replacing the bulb should correct this
