If there is no fuse for the gauge then the floater in the gas tank for the gauge is stuck. unfortunately this requires removing the fuel pump to unstick it. can try sea foam or another fuel system cleaner but no guarantees that that will work

The fuel gauge diagnosis is stuck for kia sorento 2011

Hi Hussein. My name is Tim Dorton. The fuel level senor in the gas tank is like a floating water level switch, except it controls a small voltage level. This voltage is sent to a computer which sends a signal to a module on the gauge cluster. If the gauge level is stuck on low, it could be the level sensor, no voltage, wiring, computer,or gauge cluster. If stuck between low and full, most likely the gauge cluster. If stuck on full, the level sensor may have lost it's ground, computer , gauge cluster. One way to diagnose is to unplug the level sensor at the tank, most imports have a hatch under the rear seats. Then ground the signal wire, the one that has niether power or ground, and see if the gauge goes to full.
