The odometer light burned out in my 2001 Subaru Outback. All of the other dashboard lights work fine. Is there a way to fix this? I know it doesn't really affect the performance of the car but it is a little annoying.
Thanks!
U will need to pull the instrument cluster out and replace the light bulb for the odometer display.
Ive done it- be prepared to spend at least an hour- it pretty much requires an entire dash disassembly. you have to start down by the shifter and remove all clips/screws that hold the fascia to the dash/console. its somewhat hard to describe and would definitely help if you have a repair manual with an illustration that shows where all the clips & screws are.
