I has this problem after i had recently changed out the stereo. Chech to see if the illumination wire that runs to the stereo is hooked up correctly. If you have an aftermarket stereo you may need to ground it to the body of the car.

I believe that the fuse is located in the engine compartment but check your car manual to find the exact location.

2005 Impala, directional signals inoperative. Flashers are working. Replaced the hazard warning switch. Still no directional signals, hazards work. Now, car will not start.Buzzing sound from hazard sw

There is a good possibility that the hazard warning and directional signal lights have nothing to do with the starting or operation of the engine. There are many things that might cause the car to fail to start. The battery must be fully charged, and in good working condition. No corrosion on the terminals. good solid connections. When you turn the key the starter motor should turn the engine over. If that works the carburetor will need gas. If you have gas and spark, the engine should run. Hope that helps.
Turn signals work with the tail lights and parking lights on the front. You should turn on the Head lights and check to see if the tail lights and parking lights come on. You will also want to check to see if the flasher is plugged in. All the light bulbs must be plugged in and working to operate the flasher for the turn signals. good luck

I have a 2005 GMC w-4500 cab over box truck. The turn signals do not work. I have checked the fuse in the glove box, checked the flasher under the dash. The hazard lights work, but neither turn signal.

that could have two flashers one for the turn signals and one for the hazards lights.if you turn the hazard lights on and the flasher you located, you should feel it click as the lights flash.if it does it could possibly have another one for turn signals. sometimes it is a square relay in the fuse panel. and could be a problem with the turn signal switch this is the same as a isuzu npr.

2002 lancer the brake lights don't work

Check the fuse, if the turn signals are working in the back, the bulbs are ok. If the fuse is good, check the brake switch, it's under dash, near the top of the brake pedal. Either the button is stuck and not popping out when the brake pedal is pressed, or the switch is bad.
