My 2006 Nissan Titan Slip light comes on at start up. At this time, the 4wd display tree in dash is not showing up. After truck warms up at idle for several minutes, or is driven for a couple miles, the 4wd tree appears. Then, I can turn off the engine, restart the engine, and the slip light is no longer lit. Any ideas?

Most likely a wheel speed sensor starting to go bad, possably a wiring or Modual Issue.

You would have to pull the code with the light lit to tell you were to start the Diagnosis.

SOURCE: service engine soon, TCS off, SLIP

The oil change wouldn't cause this problem. Just in-case, check the engine oil level.

There are many emission sensors in the car that will make the engine light come ON. Best way to find out what's going on is to have an auto-parts store hook up a engine code reader and tell you what the code means. Most auto-part store will do this for free.

Testimonial: "very helpful. i have the mechanic checked the car , the sensor says it has a malfunction in P0340"

SOURCE: My brake, slip and VDC indicators stay on.

Check brake fluid level, add fluid from sealed container if needed.

Also check for leaking rear axle seals. Look for oil on the inside of rear wheels.

SOURCE: The brake light, VDC light and Slip light remain

I have a 04 Titan with 132k on it. I have had this issue off and on for the past 4 years however lately it's happening way to often. I took it to ABC Nissan in Phx. A service writer told me it was the Booster Pump $900.00 fix. Nissan says to reset sensor but, this never works. I'm trying to get a few more opinions about this before spending that much money on what they think is wrong.

4x4 does not engage

If it's the 4 LO light flashing in all the 4x4 switch positions, or if you have it in park and the ATP light is on, your ATP switch might be bad, or a loose connection to it. There is a TSB on this for '04 Titans athttp://x.nissanhelp.com/forums/Knowl...html?catid=160.......HOPE THIS HELP YOU OUT

4wd will not engage, light just blinks. 1 abs sensor is bad will this cause 4wd not to engage

It could be it could be vehicle speed sensor going bad any cruise control issues could be a bad connection at switch itself behind dash if you know one is bad replace it and see.
to trick the computer place truck into four wheel drive before starting

2006 nissan titan air is blowing but not coming out of the dash vents

Your dash vents should all converge under your dash into 1 airway. It sounds as if that airway connections came off and the air is blowing under the dash, but not conected to the vent ducts. Most likely have to pull the dash off to see.
