Hi Logan, You need to take your registration papers with your licence (licence is to prove YOU own the car) to a car dealer ie: Holden, Ford, Toyota, Chrysler and ask at the sales office for the RADIO SECURITY PIN NUMBER, You'll receive your BCM security number, Car key number-Ignition, Radio security pin number and Radio serial number. These numbers belong to that car and once you have them DON'T loose them because in Australia some dealers charge a fee and some don't.... Hope this helped....CHEERS..

Reset the Radio on your 2001-2005 Honda Civic

If the radio on your 2001-2005 Honda Civic (as well as some other Honda products) has lost power for any reason (i.e. dead battery, blown fuse, etc), you will need to enter the reset code.

The reset code for the factory installed radio is located in the glove box. Open the compartment; On the back of the door, usually near the left side, there should be a small white sticker. The sticker has one alph-numeric set and one set containing five numeric digits. The number set with five digits is the reset code for your factory installed radio.

Turn on the radio. When you see "CODE", use the corresponding station pre-set buttons to enter the code. If entered correctly, the radio should active immediately.

I have a 2005 silverado, if i dissconect the battery, will the factory radio lock up?

Yes so I would make sure you have the code from the factory at hand if you remove the power.

If you dont have it then you need to get it otherwise you will need a new radio face a return to factory cost

Radio reset/ When alternator replaced on my 1999 Mercedes c230 radio deprogrammed. The original factory code doesn't work. Is there a way to reset? I am locked out.

If the original factory code doesn't work, you need to pull out the radio and get the serial number on the side of it. Then contact the car dealer or the manufacturer and they would give you the code.

The code that you are referring to is also called the anti-theft code. This code is unique for each radio. No body could provide you the exact code except for the dealer or manufacturer.

Double check fuses, in case one of the power wires touch something and blew a fuse. You'll have 2 power, one with & without key on.
