If you look on your dashboard next to the button to reset the kilometers ( to the left ) you'll see a ruber plug you just need to pull it off and you'll see a small button , all you need to do is to find something that can go through to push it and this will reset the light until the next oil change, by then you will know how to reset it. Hope this help you. Good luck. Miguel

Change the oil, or pull off the battery cables and hold them together for a second and put them back on.

The speedometer and tachometer of my toyota lucida is not working.
1 mechanic said it was the ECU , the other said the speedo and tachometer are busted which is which ? are the speedo and tach connected to the ECU or is it directly connected to the trans /engine?
The engine is 3CTE diesel turbo with manual trans.
Please help. thanks.

The rubber plug is probably long gone so look for just a hole in the dash glass & a straightened paper clip works well to push the button.
