you dont need any resistors on your car. Depending on what brand or type of alarm you have you might need to use two relays for the lock and unlock to reverse the polarity of the lock and unlock trigger from the alarm

the problem is i bought the kit from a guy. all the parts are there but they gave me a code to look up my car and what wires go where. the code has a 48 hour limited time thing. i need to know what the wires connect to and if i need to add relays or if my car comes with them. it is a ready remote starter #24923
will i need to get relays for my car? and another thing i heard was somthing about some cars use resistance in the wires and adding more wires will mess up the set resistance, is that in my car?
go to www.the12volt.com they have all diagrams and relay information and diagrams for how to wire the relays for every situation
and dont forget when buying kits from people if you have never installed before you need to know that pretty much every car has security to bypass which requires more equipment the best i found was from www.idatalink.com usually around $80.00 but it has downloadable firmware for second starter resistance and many other features that eliminate needs for relays.
need to hook up starter
