Some imports require the entire light assembly to be removed in order to replace headlamps. Look to see if there are angled rods on the back side of the light assembly. If so, see if the can be pulled straight up towards the hood of the car. When they are released the headlight will be able to come forward. Good luck. Hope this helps.

How to replace rear brake light hyundai getz 2004

Access to the tail light cluster should be through panels in the rear corners of the vehicle. Remove the panel and you can remove the tail light cluster to replace the bulbs. This is the position on most sedans, unless, like on pick-ups, the tail light lenses have screws which allow the lenses to be removed to change the bulbs.

How do I get into the headlight to change the main bulb which has gone?

Here is the only literature I could find to help you. It is located in the Hyundai Accent Owners Manual under "Do It Yourself Maintenance" The shop manual doesn't even list the headlamp bulb, let alone tell you how to change it. Apparently, it is so simple to change, that they did not feel the need to explain it much.

On a 2004 Hyundai Accent 4 door, are both bulbs in the amber light supposed to be turn signals? I have no "parking" lights, and both bulbs in the amber section blink only as turn signals. The manual is...

okay, the bulbs are amber for the turn signals.
the parking lights actuate by turning off the ignition and moving the indicator arm left.right.(not all markets)

How do i replace the head light from a hyundai elantra 2004

Directly behind the bulb on the back of the headlamp assembly is a ring that you twist to lock and unlock the bulb. Twist the ring and it will slide back away from the headlamp assembly and you will be able to pull the bulb straight back and out. There is a little wire retainer that needs to be moved out of the way to facilitate disconnecting the headlamp from the connector/plug.

Do the reverse to replace the new bulb but be careful that you DO NOT touch the glass portion of the bulb or the oils from your fingers will overheat the bulb and cause early bulb failure.

When you slide the new bulb in, there is a little tab that helps you align the bulb properly so it will slide into the hold all the way. The retainer ring will not lock into place if the bulb is not sitting on the tab properly.

Just pay close attention to how the bulb comes out as you are removing it.
