The car cut out on me while driving ( radio cut off, clock dimmed, dashboard quit, windows stopped, hazards stopped, etc...) so 1st I got a new battery, temperary solution I found out, so when I was driving again and it started doing it I pulled over and quickly popped the hood. I pressed down on the plug, connector, clip whatever it's called and the car began to idle strong again. This continued, but only after driving for period of time, so my husband removed the wires from the clip & noticed 1 wire was broke inside the clip, he fixed that and it ran great until today. I had to drive a lot and when it started to act up the battery had enough juice in it to get me back home again. Can someone please give me any suggestions/answers anything?

check your radio fuses-one under hood and another under dashboard.usually after power cut you have to re-enter radio security code to get it going again most car scanners can retrieve it if you don't have on.
You should check with your dealer for how to reset the radio after someone has tampered with it. This has happened to me and it appears someone had tried to remove the Bose stereo...thorough detailing!
Ask someone to stand at the back of your car and apply brakes to see what it is happening. I believe you have a circuit malfunction on your rear lights.
Gday ate, geoff here, well it would seem that the brake lights are trying to earth through the park light system as they are in the same socket in the rear, check the earths from the light pack at the rear, and the then go from there tracing the earth circut even to the point of cleaning rust, mould/moss from them, geoff.
i have replaced my dimmer roller switch to solve my problem with the dash bord light flickering and dimming by them selfs .. that or just flip (smack) the roller switch for temp inprovement untill you decide to install a new dimming switch..?
