possibly transmission filter clogged and when hot and sediment loosens it gets easier for fluid to flow for valves(in transmission)to work better??. Also, I used to have a Chrysler product van and I found out it was a vacuum activated valve by the transmission.
Plz have fluid and filter changed in transmission. Sounds like filter is clogged and starving transmission of fluid until it warms up and thins out the fluid..Hope this helps.
you should also replace the input speed sensor, they should always be done in pairs and i have had both of them bad on numerous vehicles, hope this helps
thanks i will get that done later this morning better get it all good before i leave for KY
Try to replace the transmission filter.
