1991 Chevy Corvette will run if gasoline is spayed. I have replaced plugs, distributor cap, condenser, wires and plugs. Replaced fuel pump, fuel modular, got 39/40 fuel pressure on gauge, test injectors with node lights and was fine and just try a new computer box but still will not start rally frustrated! Thanks

THE FUEL PUMP IS BAD.

if your losing fuel pressure after the pump runs the drain back valve in the pump has failed.

and i doubt that you are seeing enough fuel pressure to run a vortec engine.

low fuel pressure equals a non running vortec

SOURCE: i have a 1991 corvette, it wont start. i can start

If there is not fuel going thru Fuel injectors, then it won't start. You can buy NOID lights at any auto store to connect to Fuel injectors to see if there is a problem with Fuel injector module. Here how the NOID lights look like:

http://www.tooltopia.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=5334&utm_source=shopzilla&utm_medium=cse&utm_term=OTC3050C&utm_campaign=shopzilla_r1

You plug these into the connectors of Fuel Injectors to check during cranking. If there is light then your Fuel iinjectore Module is Good.
Then there is a problem with the Regulator. Here how it look like.

94 chevy 1500 4.3 no spark no fuel

Sounds like you replaced alot of parts for nothing.
The pickup coil in the distributor "fires" the module which grounds the coil and the injectors.
Those components would need to be tested. The coil fires the plugs when the ground is removed by the module or the key switch.

a couple ways to check 1 pull a spark plug see if you feel air from hole while cranking
2 remove distributor cap see if rotor is moving while cranking
you can spray carb cleaner in carb to see if that help it start
good luck

My 1991 grand marquis wont crank, it was running great on friday then sat morning it just spending i smell gas when im trying to crank it. i was thinking it as jump time

It may have jumped time. However, if you smell gasoline, it got flooded. Here is the lay of the land.
If it cranks, as in turning over but not starting. And you smell gasoline. The fuel is good, but there is not electrical spark going to the plugs. Bad coil. Cracked distributor cap. Moisture under the cap. Check this before you worry about the timing. You first have to test for ignition. Also don't pump the gas when starting it. See what happens. Also when the car is warm, never pump the gas. Also check the wire going from the distributor cap to the coil.
Good luck,
Hope this helps,
Best,

Engine miss, replaced fuel filter, plugs, wiring, cap, rotor, distributor, computer under dash, also coil yhat mounts distributor cap, spark plugs, don't know what else to do!!

Do a compression test and make sure it is not a mechanical problem.Could be burnt valve, bad cam,or broken valve spring. If you know which cylinder is missing pull the valve cover and check the valves and see if they are all moving up and down evenly when you turn the motor over.Just disable the vehicle from starting or you can do it with it running.Hope this helps.Good luck.

Won't start, fuel pump runs at key on, spark at coil wire into distributor is yellow, little or no spark at plug wire ends

Sounds like bad distributor cap or rotor. If ones bad, might as well change both. Take off the cap and if there is a black color on the ends of the prongs, or on the end of the rotor, time to replace. Is it getting fuel into motor?
