Under the dashboard to the right of the stereo is the headlight relay. It may be in need of replacement. Also in the fusebox has a circuit breaker rated for 7.5amps could be heating up and creating the flicker of lights. My first guess would be the circuit breaker. Your welcome

It is lacated under the dashboard on the driver's side. It looks like a large silver fuse but you can't see the inside of it. Good luck

    In the fuse panel.

1990 jeep pops and you've gotta put it in neutral, stop, then back in gear, if you give it too much gas go REALLY easy and it got me home... transmission/transfer case/rear axle ???

Does it do this in any specific gear or all of them ? If it is just 5th gear it is a somewhat common problem that I have seen. The transmission should be rebuilt or replaced.

1990 jeep wrangler turn signals do not flash adequately when headlights are on..?

Is this an optical issusion and the indicators are merely being "flooded " by the wash of light from the headlights. Try a stronger bulb in the indicators or use amber bulbs if not already fitted.

I have a 90 jeep wrangler, 4cyl and 5 speed transmission, when i accelerate in any of the gears, it makes a popping noise and the second it makes that noise it seems like the jeep stops pulling, if you...

It sounds like it is the throw out bearing. From your description of the vehicle not pulling its weight, it is going to need a clutch. The throw out bearing will come in most clutch kits, so when you replace the clutch you can replace the throw out bearing, pressure plate, and pilot bushing.

1990 Jeep Wrangler Problem:

1990 Jeep Wrangler. Driving with lights on for 10 - 15 minutes. First the dash lights go out followed by the headlight and tail lights. If you pull the dimmer switch back (like you would to flash your brights at someone) the head lights will come on and as long as you continue to pull back on the dimmer switch the head lights will stay on bright.
