    It is for the gauge

  • chrisp952 Apr 22, 2009

I received your response, thank you. But there is no picture showing up in my browser. I am new so maybe I am missing something?

  • chrisp952 Apr 23, 2009

I have tried a couple  of different browsers. Show  the picture as a broken link.  When I click  on them I get "page not found" error.
Here is  the  link I get: http://www.fixya.com/uploads/images/9EED...
When I try it  in several browsers I always get page not found.

I got a 2002 gt mustang with a 4.6... when I switch from 1st to 2nd it's good. 3rd gear I hear a winding noise. Sounds like its coming from the driveshaft to the rear end. The fluid levels are good in the rear end and when my car is in neutral, and I give it gas, it don't make that high pitch noise. Is the rear end going out?

1995 Ford Mustang GT V8. Why do my dim headlights not work?

" dim headlights "? None of your lights should be 'dim'. You have 4 lights.

Side Lights.
Daytime Running Lights (DRL)
Low Beam Headlights.
High Beam Headlights.

Here are the fuses, check fuse 5 and D although they covers more items than lights. Your best bet is to find a good local auto-electrician.

98 mustang gt O2 Scensor location

Hi, the O2 sensors are located on your exhaust mid-pipe all the way forward near where it attaches to your headers. If you have a factory catalytic h-pipe, they are located forward of the two forward-most cats. I have a Magnaflow catalytic x-pipe on my daily driver, so I only have two cats and the O2 sensors are super easy to get to.

I had my O-2 sensor replaced about 2 yrs. ago on my 1998 Ford Mustang GT, 4.6 liter several years ago. My check engine light came on a month ago and the Dealer told me it was the O-2 sensor. Do I have...

Hi,

$500 is a bit high. The sensors are on the exhaust and basically they help your car exhale. If you continue driving on a bad one it will throw your exhaust, intake and finally engine off key...

They cost about $90 buck a piece if you dont shop around and you can ask a tech savvy neighbor to put them in for you. The website below should be of help.

Good driving.

My coolin fan for my engine wont run? how do i fix it? 98 ford mustang gt

okay heres what causes not to kick in,
1 a bad motor
2 bad tempeture sensor
3 bad/defected fuse or relay.
check the fuses and your fan relay first. swap them around to test is every thing well then test the motor dirtectly, if its fine and works, then tempeture sensor on the engine. remove the harness and put a jumper wire on the prongs and what it kick the fan in. have the ign on with engine off for this. if it works replace the sensor.
hope this help you.

INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR (IAT) is normally located at the engine air filter housing for old models but i think yours its incorporated with the mass air flow unit (assembly). Thats the sensor after the air filter
