Hi,If your Hyundia is at least a 2007 or above it most likely has a TPMS(Tire Pressure Monitoring System) and a low tire lite on the dash. The spare tires don't have a TPMS sensor in them. Have your original tire repaired of the flat,when you put the stock wheel and tire back on the car at a proper inflation of at least 32-35psi, the low tire pressure lite should go out soon after.

Hello, there is really no problem what pattern is on the tread, you only run into problems by changing sizes. There is a really good tire sizer in the Discount tires.com site. You use some of the tools in the site and you can find out what you can use on the rims you have if you want to change sizes.

They also have a MPH calculator which will tell you about the speedometer error from changing tire sizes. The All-Terrain tires have wider grooves on them and will tend to be nosier than All-Season tires. You can also save some money on buying tires with the proper Speed rating for your vehicle.
The faster the speed rating, the more expensive the tire.

You should check your current tires and look at the speed rating for them, it will be on the sidewall. You would want the same or better as your stock tires. Watch for the load rating too!
Everybody has an opinion on Brands and surprisingly, some Brands make a great tire in one size and the same Brand, same Tire type, can be lousy in another rim size. Ford puts All-Terrain tires on some vehicles, just go to a New car lot and look at what they are installing on the new models.

The original tire size the vehicle came with should be on a sticker inside the driver or passenger door jamb along with manufacturers suggested tire p.s.i.

Hello. Yes, snow tires will give you the best possible traction in winter driving conditions, better that all season. The size tire depends upon the size of your rim so go to a tire store and shop around. They will tell you what size your vehicle requires. As far as kind goes, I prefer Michelin but any brand name snow tire will work fine.

It's recommended that your tire size not vary more than 3% of original, due to handling characteristics, and car/truck performance. Keep in mind that putting huge tires on can throw off your speedometer reading, so big tires having fewer revolutions will show a lower speed than you are actually traveling-so watch out for radar traps! Our computer controlled engines are fed info constantly to adjust fuel/air ratio, rpms, etc, and vastly different tire sizes can affect those adjustments and calculations. So, yes, I agree, bigger tires would look much better, but don't go too big. For a formula to estimate tire size and lots of info and advice, go to tirerack website.

Yes, its all about wear rates and actual tyre sizes, wheel speeds etc. If one tyre is 2 mm smaller than another this one will turn faster than the rest causing, abs faults, traction control faults and transfer gear faults. Always change all four together and rotate the wheels to keep even tyre wear. I know this can be expensive but the transfer case and transmission are a far greater expense.

Go with the 265/75/16, they are the same as the Off Road Pathfinder. If you shop around, you can find them for alot less than the original size price. Be sure to find a good all season tire with a good treadwear rating.
