How can I set ignition timing for a 1993 Nissan pickup 2.4l fuel injection. I have the timing lamp, but I don't know the right mark, it says 10 degrees BTDC. The pulley has 6 marks, which one is the right one?

I am trying to get a 1986 nissan truck i just got to stay running.it will start and idle a couple seconds then dies.its throttle body fuel injected

sounds like a fuel filter, or fuel pump, or could be spark related such as coil breaking down or bad igniter if so equipped

I have a 1987 nissan pick up d-21 with the 3.5 DOHC engine and a 5 speed manual trans in this 4X4 I am pulling the engine out, do i have to pull the trans ? or can i oull just the engine? The oil pan seems...

I don't recall what those are like under there but things I have done to leave the transmission in are,
Pull the drive shafts and unbolt the transmission mount so it can be slid back but left in the truck.
Unbolt the mount (or leave it bolted if it will move enough) so the transmission still sits on it but jack the front of it up while lifting the motor so it can be pulled out of the trans enough to clear the input shaft.
Sometimes they take a little pull the motor forward and inch and then lift and inch then pull forward another inch and then lift another inch.....

Good luck on your swap. I was just doing the head on a 87 Nissan D21 with the Z24i and was looking for a later donar with ported injection for it instead of that TB injection also.

I need to know the location fo the fuel filter on a 93 Toyota dlx pickup with manual transmission and a 22re engine

ok which is it a 93 toyota pick up or a 93 nissan? the toyota is on the pasenger side under the intake you have to remove the wheel to get to it and the one on the nissan pickup is under the pickup cab on the inside frame drivers side, on the toyota get the filter first and install one line at a time cause if you get it worng it is a pain to get back on right.

My 1993 Chevy 350 fuel injected pickup just quit

Check to see if there is any power getting to the fuel pump, if there is 12 volts going to the fuel pump then replace the pump, if there is no voltage present, the problem could be the fuel pump relay, a fuse, or a break in the wiring.

1993 toyota pickup no power going up hills

there are several things that can cause the problems you are having. the first is ignition timing. the rest are as follows: excessive play in distributor shaft, while checking that, check distributor cap, wires, etc., faulty or incorrectly gapped plugs, dirty air filter, faulty ignition coil, brakes binding, incorrect auto tranny fluid level, clogged fuel filter, slipping clutch, egr system not functioning properly, low or uneven cylinder compressions.,vacuum leaks on or around the intake manifold, or a fault with the fuel injection or engine management system
