There is no tension adjustment if the arm is too loose and dosen't put enough pressure on the windshield you need to replace the arm you can bend the center of the arm very slightly and get a little more tension BUT the arms are over 15 years old and teh springs are probably weak

How to take off the rear windsheild wiper on a 94 grand cherokee

You will need a 13-inch wiper blade for the rear window. 1 - When removing the wiper blade lift the wiper arm away from the window. ----- 2 - With one hand holding the wiper arm press the small tab on the underside of the wiper blade where it meets the wiper arm. ----- 3 - Slide the wiper blade off of the arm by pulling the center toward the bottom of the arm.----- 4 - Lightly lay the wiper arm on the window.----- 5 - Prepare your new wiper blade by taking the curved part of the plastic clip and line it up with the curve of your wiper arm. ----- 6 - Lift the wiper arm and press it through the center of the wiper blade up and over the plastic clip. 7 - Pull the wiper blade up until it clicks. Place the arm back on the window.

How to change rear wiper blade on a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo? I bought a reagular replacement blade but it appears that a special blade is needed. I think the plastic arm piece on the wiper arm...

Hi,
Yes, the wiper is a two piece wiper. Can not be bought at Walmart.
One piece is bolted to the Jeep. The other section has the wiper attachted.
You have to get this at the Jeep dealer or on line. The complete wiper assembly is about $38.00 or $17.00 for the wiper, with the broken tip.
I have a 2006 Grand Cherokee and that happen to me also.

Where is the wiper motor located on a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited? Do I need to remove the cover at the bottom of the windshield? If so, how do I detach the wiper arms themselves to lift it out?

Yes you have to remove this cover. the arms have a clip thingy on the side I believe. if you genty pry the clip away from the arm then lift the arm a bit to hold the clip out near the base they should slip right off. this is true on a 94 yours should be the same.

How to remove 1996 Jeep Cherokee wiper arm so it can be repositioned on the windshield.

At the base of the arm where it attaches to the drive stub, you should see a "L" tab made of stainless steel. that tab swings out, disengaging the arm. you then need to pull and wiggle the arm a bit to get it free from the stub. When you put it back on, make sure you swing the tab back in or the arm will fall off later.

I need instuctions to replace the rear wiper blade on a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Take it to any parts store and they will do it for you for free, there are three types, the rocker type which you have to raise the wiper arm away from the glass then pull the tab up then slide the wiper down and slide the wiper off the wiper arm. but the best thing is have someone show you how to do it for the first time sometimes they can be tough to get off.

Can not find tension release for the serpentine fanbelt on a 2001 Jeep Cherokee Loredo. Help....!

On some Jeeps the tension is held by the alternator adjustment and there may be no tensioner pulley. See if the alternator bolts into an adjustable arm mount. If so - loosen the alternator and rotate it to release the tension.
