2004freestar will not start

At first time, the tranaxle light came on with jerking stop.I towed to transmission shop to check tansmission. But they could not find anything wrong. So I towed to garage for engine checking and they changed all electrical parts include spark plugs, wires, coil, crank sensor, cam sensor, etc.it cost 1700$ and it worked fine for 6days then stopped again. So they replaced fuel pump and fuel pressure regulatorthat cost 1300$.it worked only 2hours this time.

Question, you ned fuel, air, and spark.- They'have changed eveverythingconcerning each need. Now, One thing I noyiced was not addressed, unless you simply missed telling me. That is the MAF sensor. Mass Air Flow sensor. It senses the amount of air the engine is getting and tells the electronic control modudule (ECM) how much fuel is needed proportionately for proper Air/Fuel ratio. The NAFsensor is the first sensor in the ducting coming out of the air cleaner, going to the engine intake. This is a common problem in starting and running issues. You can replace it yourself after checking the connector for good contact. Unplug it and plug it back in firmlly. If it starts and gives you anymore trouble, Replace it, Ck the price of one and it may be worth carrying as a spare or replacing it now. You can return it within a week or two if you don't install it. Good luck and please let me know the results.

Go to town hall on edmunds.com and look up 2004 Ford Freestar engine problems and be amazed. After the anger subsides, file a report with the NHTSA to become part of the investigation.

MY CAR LIKE JERKING SOME TIMES WHEN RIDING NO SERVICE LIGHT AND ITIS SERVICED REGULARLY ?

Check your transmission fluid. Usually if your rig starts shifting hard ( big Jerking motion) it's a sign that your transmission is terminal and the ring is going between the gears

How can a Kia Rio 2001 transmission just stop working with no evidence of any issues?

Depending on the shop, you should be able to trust them IT could be a coincidence. The mileage was not listed so it may be time for a transmission overhaul.

Why stopped at light went to move and would not. i moved the shifter several times then it move but jerked.

Check the transmission fluid level first and make sure it's full. If it is full then a trip to a transmission shop would be the next step. It's quite possible that a simple fluid and filter change may fix the problem.

2003 ford expedition 4.6 v8 After 40 to 50 miles car starts jerking, but no alert light turns on the dash board. I just replaced the tow converter, but the problem still continues. If I turn on the OD...

You mean when you turn OFF the Over Drive the problem goes away?

What you are actually doing is this, the TCC Solenoid is being turned off and the shuttering stops, that means your TCC has an Issue and is kicking on and off, on and off, on and off... There is 2 EASY ways to fix this. First you are taking a shot in the dark, second will fix it for the long run.
(a) Service your Transmission, new Filter and New Fluid. this will take care of the problem 50% of the time
(b) Service your Transmission with a new Filter and New Fluid and while you have the Pan OFF... REPLACE THE TCC Solenoid (One 10mm Bold holds it in place) and then finish the service,. This will take care of the problem 99% of the time.

I just did this to my 2002 Expedition and fixed the problem. Solenoid is available on Ebay for less than $40. you have to know how many BOLTS hold your Transmission Pan on. But it will fix your issue

2007 GMC Acadia

The first thing I would want to know is where the fluid is going.
If the transmission has an electrical problem with a sensor or solenoid, you should have a check engine light with a trouble code.
