SOURCE: ac blower motor

Check fuse supplying fan is not blown,
Check blower control switch is operating OK,
Check relay controlling fan is operating OK,
Check variable speed resistor pack is not faulty (the resistor pack is usually located in the blower ducting, in the blower airflow),
Check blower motor ground connection is not missing.

'94 Silverado heat/ac fan not blowing. Hear clicking when selecting l,m, and high but not blowing

94 CHEVY Silverado ????,heat/ac fan not blowing. K1500?????? Hear clicking when selecting l'm, SET high but not blowing! WITH AIR OR NO A/C? FIRST IS FUSES, MAKE SURE THE BLOWER FUSE IS NOT BLOWN.
EASY NO? CHECK ALL FUSES FIRST. ON ALL ELECTRICS FAILING OF ANY KIND.
BAD FUSE, BAD WIRINIG , BAD CONNECTIONS. OR EVEN BAD RELAYS TO THE BLOWER OR BAD SWITCH BLOW.
THE OLD CARS , HAD A SPEED BLOW , RESISTOR BLOCK
THAT FAILS ON ALL SPEEDS BUT HIGH, SO ITS NOT THAT.
OWN A VOLT METER????
HERE IT IS, ANY OF THIS CAN FAIL THIS OLD
WE USES A VOLTMETER TO FIND THE POINT OF FAILURE.
A SHORTED BLOWER MOTOR CAN BLOW LEFT SIDE TOP
FUSABLE LINK.RIGHT FUSE BLOWN MAKES THE CONTROLLER DEAD.

1999 GMC sonmia heater fan don't blow any air out

With nothing more than a 12V test light, it is easy to diagnose what your issue is. If you can unplug the motor at the motor and make your test ligh light up, it is a bad motor. If your fan operates, but only in the med-high position it's a bad blower motor resistor. Of if power is getting to your resistor, but not past to the motor. If neither of those are the issue, make sure you have power at the switch and that power is going out from the switch to the resistor. If there is not 12V at the switch you need to check the fuse panel.

1992 gmc pickup keeps blowing heater fuses I replaced the blow motor and it keeps blowing

Have you replaced the blower resistor . some times they can cause the fuse to blow . You may need a muiltmeter to test the current draw on the blower motor circuit. the draw should be less then half of the rated fuse .( 20 amp fues draw is less then 10 amps) You did not say but does the blower work on high only or the lower speeds with out blowing the fuse ? if it does work on low or high with out blowing the fuse i would replace the blower resistor

Heater fan on 2002 Yukon does not operate in front, only rear.

The front blower motor is controlled by the blower resistor module. This is usually the problem with the front blower not working.I looked up the schecmatics and I don`t see separate fuses for the front and rear. But the fuse for the front blower is in the under hood fuse block. If this is good then The problem is probably the resistor module. It is next to the blower motor. The connector from the resistor connects to the blower motor. If you want to confirm this you can check for power and ground at the blower motor connector when you activating the blower switch on.This can be done with a test light.Make sure you have power going into the resistor module also.If you have power going in and no power at the blower motor then replace the resistor.Hope this helps.Good luck.

MY HVAC fan stopped blowing. Checked all the

Check the blower motor speed control resistor pack is ok.
(The resistor pack is usually located in the blower fan ducting in the air flow).
Check condition of electrical connection terminals on the blower motor circuit - these terminals pass considerable current and over time may fatigue overheat and loosen.
Check operation/replace any blower motor control relay,
Check the blower motor will run if +12v directly applied to the blower motor.
Check operation of the blower motor speed control switch is ok.

Blower motor continues to run when vehicle is off

Your problem is the Relay which is encased inside the Heater/AC Resistor Module. This is a very common problem with GMC and Chevy Trucks. The Relay's return spring fails and the relay is held closed by gravity. The only fix is to replace the Resistor Module. I have a 2004 Silverado and have replaced the Module 3 times and the Blower Motor twice. The Orange wire feeding the Module is always Hot (12V) and feeds the Relay Contact for Highest Blower Speed. Hence the Blower runs all the time even with the Key off and removed.
