I have 2 problems one one my gear shift the light is out and the sun roof wont open I know it happened previously if we disconnected it from the battery that helped but the thing is then I have to put the code in for the navagation system and my radio please advise on both. next to the gear shift it looks like it could pop open so maybe there is a light bulb or a fuse. It may be a circuit breaker.My windows and door locks stopped working,even after checking all fuses and replacing Main Driver side door switch! Found three circuit breakers that you can reset with a paper clip or small screwdriver. They were black with an aluminum cover on top. They don't come out easily,just insert the pin on each one.

It is a setting preset in your security/keyfob system. It should be outlined in the owners manual on how to change the settings back to the default. If not, your Honda dealer should be able to do this at no charge if you are under 36 mi/36K miles.

yes it will matter that the switch is v tec....AND I WOULD REPLACE THAT SHIFT SOLENOID AS WELL ...THE THROTTLE POSITION USUALLY ISNT THE PROBLEM WITH THIS PARTICULAR MODEL..first the v.s.s and the shift solenoid is most likely the culprit

It sounds like you have a bad transmission computer. The first thing you should do is have a shop try to scan the TCM for codes.

It seems to be that your cables have come off track or have became broken and/or bound. I'm assuming that this is the binding sound u have described.
