Do 2002 ford Taurus 24 valve v-6 have a starter relay mounted on the firewall?

Are any of the main fuses blown ?

On the starter motor, literally.

On 1992 Ford Taurus 3.0L 6cyl the Starter Relay is located under hood, driver side, front side of strut tower, mounted on fenderwell.

Make sure its for the same engine..They have a 12 valve engine and a 24 valve engine..

Fuse 15 in the passenger conpartment fuse panel. It is a green 30Amp Fuse

Engine compartment fuse/relay box
#24 is starter relay (24 is the starter relay)
#31 is low speed cooling fan relay
#29 is fuel pump relay
#25 is A/C Clutch relay
#23 is blower motor relay
#30 is PCM relay (engine computer)

I/P fuse panel


#34 battery saver relay
#35 Driver's unlock relay
#36 rear defrost relay
#37 interior lamp relay
#38 one touch window down relay
#39 accessory delay relay this should help you out the question with the FOAB-14B192-aa look what number it came out of on fuse box then match it up it will tell you what its for happy holiday

Depending on which motor you have (12 valve or 24 valve). 12 valve is a little easier,just take the drive belt loose,remove the cooling fans,take the metal line loose at the p/s pump and take bolt out of p/s line bracket on exhaust manifold and position the line out of the way,then you can remove the compressor attatching bolts and studs and remove through the cooling fan area. 24 valve is similar but you have to take the front motor mount loose and raise the engine slightly.

The two have nothing to do with each other. You just get a starter for a 99 Taurus with a 3 litre engine.

one valve is on the passenger side next to the coolant jug, the other is on the passenger side next to the firewall, near the receiver dryer.
