For the BMW 7 series (E38) 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001 model year. Fuse box in engine compartment. fuse box location. Open the hood.

see if there is an inline fuse on the power wire to the radio. It appears to be a known issue. Check out the link

Where is the oil sending unit located on the 1998 BMW 740il

It is attached to your oil pan, it is a flat sensor. Google "oil level sender E38" and select images, you will see what you are looking for.

How can I get visual information of where the timing marks are on a 4.4 liter motor. This is a 1999 BMW 7 series E38

hi unfortunately there is no external marks to go by this is only achieved by removing the rocker covers and then putting it into top dead centre and seeing if the 2 camshaft marks align up at the top..

Page 63. It seems as though you have your transmission in Manual Program. Normal driving should use Adaptive program.

Or, your transmission is slipping.

I cant get the trunk open of my 2001 bmw 740..

have you tried to use the key manualy? usually is you put the key in the key hole and turn past the normal lock position it will open up for you from there you will want to check the fuses located in the right rear portion of the trunk
