2002 Hyundia Santa Fe headlight relay

Lo-beams work, Hi-beams intermittent. Will be working and then go out while driving... then come back on. Not fun at 65 mph. Can't find the h/l relay. The cover on the fuse box under the hood maps all relays, but none are labelled headlights. Where is it?

I would want to check for a loose ground wire first. Fuses must be okay if the lights work "at times" correctly.

Testimonial: "Yep, left & right h/l fuses are good. Any idea where I would find/check hi-beam ground wire? Obviously one that would affect both left & right headlights."

Hyundai santa fe fuse headlights

You should have a 10amp headlight fuse, and two 15amp fuses - one for each side low beam. And there is a relay for each low beam plus one for the high beams. The headlight switch provides the ground circuit.
The fuses and relays are in the fuse box in the engine compartment.
Check your owners manual for details.

Where are the Headlight relays on 2002 Renault clio

The headlamp circuit is rather simple. From the 15 amp RH headlamp fuse, there is a red w/yellow trace that goes to the RH high beam. Out of the 15 amp LH headlamp fuse, the wire going to the LH Hi beam is solid red. Both of these wires should have power when the headlamp relay is energized. The wires from the Hi Beam bulbs going back to the switch should both be red w/black trace. The wire going from the headlamp relay to power the 2 15 amp fuses is white. The headlamp switch applies a ground to illuminate either the Lo Beams or the Hi Beams.

Both headlights stopped working on my 2005 santa fe highbeams work fine where do i begin troubleshooting problems?

First check the 15 amp H/LP (LOW) fuse in the engine compartment relay box. If good, try switching the high beam relay (same box as the fuse) with the low beam relay. If that gets your low beams to work, you need a relay. Please let me know if this doesn't work or if you have any questions.

Lights not working

Headlight low beams blow simultaneously sometimes. Actually quite often, for some reason.

Check for voltage with a 12v test light or a voltmeter at the light bulb plug.

You need to Do A MANUAL OIL PRESSURE TEST With A Handheld Gage, to First determine that you have Proper Pressure IF YOU DO Try A Valve Adjustment (If Applicable) If Not Then I Would Look into Replacing Lifters
