2007 chrysler town and country a/c blows cold through floor and defrost vent but not dash vents

Often a sign of a blend door problem. The blend door or doors are in the heater a/c box behind the dash.

01 dodge 2500 v8. Air conditioner started out strong, blowing cold air..temporarily would start blowing warm and then back to ice cold...Noticed when stopping and turning corners a hissing noise coming...

Hi. Have your car aircon evaporator cleaned. Check also the drain hose. All water should go out of the car through the drain hose. There might be something clogging up the hose that is why water will run out the floor and that causes also the aircon to work intermittently.

Have a good one!

Air blows out of the floor vent on all switch settings. If I set the switch to run a/c it still blows air out of the floor vent If I set it to window defrost it still blows out of the floor vent.

Switch or relay. Get shop manual and test the switch the way it tells you to. The relay you can open and look for any signs of corrosion or burnt terminals. You can ohm the terminals out to check for resistance issues . Use the shop manual it will give you the correct testing procedure.

Dash vents will not blow air. Defroster and floor vents blow fine.

Is it a new vehicle? I had a new vehicle that had the same problem. Answer was that the holes weren't punched out of the vent.
