Its the passenger side, and there seems to be no way to get to it without dismantling the entire front of the car. I can get to the hi beam bulb but I need to get to the low beam. No room
Open hood, remove radiator suport bar that has the hood latch on it. in the center above the grill there are 2 10mm bolts and 3 plastic fasteners with a pin in the center of them, pull pin up and remove fasteners. there are 2 plastic fasteners on each side of center piece i broke them off and replaced the with fasteners with push pin from auto store. remove 10mm and 13mm bolts holding the center support bar and 2 long 7mm bolts holding headlight assembly lift bar up and set on engine. be carefull not to scratch fenters or anything else with th end of bar. there will be just enough room to remove bulb. after you've done it once it takes ten minutes 2nd time. i just did my wifes 2 hrs ago. thanks gary j.
There is only one bulb to replace as both beams are in the same lamp. There isnt much room to work, but you just turn the plastic ring & pull the unit back then remove the bulb....) You can also remove the entire headlight adjusting assy that is plastic - with the headlamp intact, but that's another story. hope this helps, rick
I had the wrong car as I was thinking about the town and country. You are right there are two lamps in the headlamp as well as the side marker light, starting in 02 I think. They sorta look like the 300M or lhs lights - which have 2 bulbs. Mine takes the earlier assembly, which also is almost impossible to get out. I can see from my book that your low beam is not really changeable without removing the lamp or what is behind it.
I think on the 2000 you have to 1-remove the plastic splash shield enough on the pass side so that you can get to the facia (bumper) plastic plugs that you pop out to to remove it, unsnap enough of those (wider than the headlamp, so that you can roll the facia back far enough to get to the headlamp jackscrews, which you remove so you can remove the light & change the bulb, - which isn't easy. I think you will have to do the same for the 03 as far as i can tell. This is the best I can do as of today for a solution. Rick

I have a 2003 chrysler concorde lx. I replaced the headlight bulbs and it was a pain for something so easy. Yes I had to remove the radiator support bar that the hood latches on. I was unable to remove the headlamp assembly completely and had to squeeze my had in to get out the high beam bulb. There is a hole to the side and just off center that I think they could have centered onto the bulb that would have prevented the necessary of removing the radiator support bar but we all know this is too simply for Chrysler to figure out (sorry I rant) anyway, if there isn't enough room as previously described then you may have the wrong bulb. The straight bulb will not fit, it has to be the bulb with the L shape connector. The outside(not including the turn signal bulb) is low and inside bulb is high 9006 (no letters or other numbers, at least for mine.) Now does any one know how to actually remove the entire headlamp assembly?

There are definately two seperate bulbs, one for low beam and one for hi beam. I even checked the VIN to be sure it is a 2003. Then I looked at the headlight bulb guide at an auto parts store and it lists different bulbs for hi and low beams. I understand about turning the ring but even if I had room to grab the ring to turn it, there would not be enough distance behing the bulb to clear the bulb much less the plastic connection. Something is going to have to move some direction.
