Front end click

There is a click sound from the driver's side front wheel of my 2000 Grand Am. It only happens when accelerating from a stopped position and sometimes when going slowly forward and turning the steering wheel. It is always one click only.

Hi! there,
click noise on front wheel may also evident in
the suspension system when driving, these noises maybe produced by the springs and shock absorbers may either be a rattling noise or squeaks,Noises produced are usually caused by looseness of the parts, tightness of the parts and lack of lubricant.

Cv axles click when worn out slow and steady click at low speeds and fast and steady when going fast would hear cv axle clicks at all times when driving not just when turning. History experience is better than textbook experience. Your local shops might feel ok with just answering your questions also

SOURCE: There is a click sound from the driver's side

tie rod end will need to be replaced. If there is more than one click than that would be ball joint.

Clicking noise front wheel drivers side speeding up and getting louder when I accelerate and slowing down

Clicking noise from front end indicates a failing CV joint . It happens as the out of round balls fall into worn grooves in the joint as it turns The fix is to have them replaced

Car is shaking when driving and makes clicking noise

CV joints will only click when the wheel is turned. Normally this is due to a torn boot and the grease gets EVERYWHERE in the front suspension.
The clicking could also be that you need to bend back your dust shield that goes behind your brake rotor. You could have hit it when doing the strut and it is making contact with the brake rotor.
As far as the shaking, this could be a number of different things. I would make sure the rest of your front end it tight. Check the ball joints, wheel bearings, tie rod ends, strut mounts, and wheels.

In a 1998 4x4 jimmy 4 door I am experiencing a vibration which feels like its in the front end. the only occurs while accelerating, but stops almost instantly after letting off the gas pedal. Vibration...

This could be a loose hub bearing causing the hub to move in and out .When accelerating the weight shift will be less on the front wheels so the hub may be moving in and out during this .Have this checked soon :)

Clicking, sticking sound from front end, drivers side

It is your cv joint that is bad. If you jack the van up on that side, check to see if the boot is ripped...and more than likely your cv joint is about shot...even if the boot is intact.

The cv joint is bad....

Left front wheel noise, accelerates as if 'winding up' and hums

Have tires checked, but sounds like possible wheel bearing going.
