My car heater recently stopped working. It just blows out cold air! Before it stopped working the cold and hot switch wasn't turning so i forced the knob to turn and since than my heater hasn't worked. Also before it stopped working the motor was making a loud noise when turned on. Im flustered need information and broke so be nice if i can solve the problem myself! If its the cable how do i get my glove box off to get to the activator i believe its called?

It may just need to be adjusted (it sounds like it's too loose). If the belt isn't cracked or frayed, you should just have it tightened up a bit . If there are signs it is worn (cracked frayed) replace it.

the blower motor is like round cage and the only way to get to it is to take appart the dash. not the insterment cluster but the top and through the glove box is probably the only access. i doubt you will find a schematic just take lots of pictures while taking appart of what each screw looks like as it comes out. most the heater vents are in your way taking them out is not only screws but plastic barbs. just take every thing appart that is plastic and keep track of where it goes the cage you want is dead center of the dash. you dont need to take it out just get access to it. also what ever got there probably fell from one of the vents that blows onto the windshield so the top of dash removal may be easier if all you need is access to pull out some trash.

If your "Check Engine" or "Service Engine Soon" light is on, you need to have that checked out first.
If not, the next thing you should check is your engine coolant level. (Antifreeze) If the coolant level is low, the engine coolant does not circulate through the heater core and the the heater doesn't work. The coolant level could be low for a number of reasons including a leaky hose, water pump, or head gasket. In any case, if it is found to be low, you need to find out why.
If the coolant level is OK then the thermostat function needs to be checked to make sure that the engine is reaching operating temperature.
If all of the above checks out OK, then the heater control valve and/or the blend air door in the HVAC housing needs to be checked for proper operation. (NOTE: some cars are not equipped with a heater control valve)
