Trailer lights, brake lights, and cruise control not working and fuses not blown
SOURCE: cruise control
Here's the situation, there was a factory recall on the cruise control module for Explorers and Expeditions during recent years and your vehicle may be included. This is very important because in some vehicles this faulty cruise control module sparked and caught on fire. Here's what you do, call the Ford dealer in your area(service) with the vin number to your vehicle, they will tell you if your vehicle was under this factory recall and if it is they will replace it for free. I would be very careful as you may have one of these faulty modules. Hope this helped.

Check your brake light switch at the pedal. This controls the lights and disengages the cruise when stopping. I'd look there before I go anywhere else. There may just be a wire loose. Could be a simple fix.
Good Luck and hope this helps.

I found the problem. Talking with a technician from the controller company, we determined that it was a fuse problem. I found that the fuse to the CHMSL was blown.
SOURCE: which fuse controls trailer brake lights
this would not be a fuse problem if one side works, your problem will be in the wiring to the light, if light works on the truck then check wiring on trailer and check where wiring starts off from rear of truck the green wire is the wire to check this does rt side signal and brake heres a website to help you. it shows a diagram of trailer wiring..hope this helps.www.etrailer.com
