I had the same problem its either the light switch or a loose connection going to the switch I could reach up in the dash and wiggle the wires going to the light switch and mine would come on
Hi, the stop lamp fuse is #1. See the diagram below. If the fuse is good, check the brake light switch above the brake pedal. Pull the connector off the switch and connect the terminals in the connector using a large paper clip. If that puts the lights on, replace the switch. Check all the bulbs at tail end for parking and brakes, test grounds and harness for trailer. Check fuses. clean batery terminals, Re instal head light swich properly and make sure all wires conect.
