Replaced battery and alarm goes off and now car will not start.no power on dashboard

Does the engine crank over but not start?

Just push the open button on your remote opener, or hit the panic (red) button again.

I would have to do hands on testing to sort this out, and that is no possible from a keyboard.

Disconnect the battery, have the ignition key turned to the "on" position then reconnect the battery.

make sure the battery cables are clean and very tight. if it's starting once you move the cables it sounds like they are loose or maybe have a break in the cable line itself

Hello, sounds like you need a new battery. As the battery goes flat the alarm senses it and sets off the warning system. Try changing the battery first and test it during the day. Also check to see if there is anything draining the power. You may also be able to adjust the alarm settings manually. Failing that, the alarm may need replacing. I hope I have helped.

The battery most likely needs replacing and that will probably have to be done before you can find the rest of the problems. The other problems could be related to the battery but I don't think they are since the vehicle actually depends more on the alternator once it is running than it does the battery. This sounds like you have a combination problem of the battery and the possibly the alarm having moisture in it. Take the alarm out of the equation by disconnecting the power wire to it and replace the battery and see if that resolves the problems.

try removing the battery + for at least 2 minutes. it should reset the alarm system. if it doesnt work you need to make your remote work try replacing the batteries and try it

you need to find out which wires go to what like the ones going into the alarm and the ones coming from the car u might have to put them back together..hopefully they are color coordinated for you good luck
