2001 Hyundai Accent dies while driving

Car dies in the middle of driving. Mostly when driving slow or stopping, it will die. Sometimes it will start back up, sometimes it takes a while to start it back up. It usually can take a trip to school then start acting up after a little bit. I put fuel injector cleaner and the car place changed fuel pump and filter but it's still doing this.

I had a similar problem and had an engine tune up done and the car runs almost like new now. Mine is a 2001 Hyundai Accent too.

2000 Mitsubishi montero sport limited keeps dying while driving

my monterosport 2001 runs great till you come to a stop sign the rpms drop and it dies start it back up revs itself and rpms drop and it dies. we can start it up rev it and it clearsup and idles but later on when you come to a stop it dies again we have cleaned the egr valave and still same thing could the tps be the problem or what?

I have a 2001 Hyundai Accent 1.6L. While driving it wil die, there is no spark but all the fuel pressure is fine. After it cools down it starts and drives for about 5-10 miles then dies again.

This sounds to me like an intermittent crankshaft sensor problem. Did your CHECK ENGINE light come on? Crankshaft sensors sometimes flicker this way before they completely die, sometimes they don't. I think you may have a flickerer. Have the code checked at your local Advanced Auto or Auto Zone. The part is only about $30.00. GOOD LUCK.

remove one of your spark plugs and have some one turn it over you stick your finger into the spark plug hole if compression pushes it out then its not your timing belt if it doesn't push it out than replace your timing belt

My 2000 Hyundai elantra and all the gauges, radio, etc quit and

your charging system is not working,so your car is working only on batt. power,when batt.gets weak car will cut off! good chance alter nator is defective! check alt.elect. connections at alt,if con.are good its alt.

Hi my accent gls 2000 it started this promblem last week

I start my car it runs for about 15 min then dies then wont start again I charge the battery complete then start runs and idles good but dies in 15 to 20 min. I think it might be altenator
