My corolla 2000 1.8 dont respond well when i push the accelerator

First i thought that my tps sensor was failing but when i read it with the scanner all seems to be fine with the Tps and dont have a check engine light on, when i push the accelerator gently the car accelerates but when i push it all fastly the car chokes, the thing is that dont accelerate well and i think that can be the catalytic converter but im not sure please tell me, another problem is a metallic rattle when the engine is running.

Do you have a check engine light, if so check it out. Most auto stores where I live will check the code for free.
Some thoughts MAF sensor

MAF could indicate high air flow and computer is sending to much gas and flooding it.
How to Tell if Your Throttle Position Sensor Is Failing (repairpal.com)
when you press gas pedal it controls the throttle body and lets more air in to intake manifold TPS reads to position of Throttle body.
I'm just thinking it may have something to do with air flow. My vehicles usually have the MAF after air leaves air filter and Throttle body TPS after MAF and before engine.
Just my thoughts.

2004 chevy can spark plugs cause scanner to read tps on a 6.0 l gas 2004 chevy silverado

It shouldn't. The TPS sensor is voltage based on throttle position. If the plugs are bad, you should get a separate cylinder misfire code only. If you are getting a TPS code, it is likely the TPS. Remember too, it is an electronic TPS, so there is a sensor on the accelerator pedal assembly that it talks to. Make sure that's plugged in. What you can do is with the vehicle in the on position (not running) - push the pedal all the way to the floor a few times. Also, clean out the throttle body and ensure there is no gunk preventing the throttle body from opening smoothly and all the way. Good Luck.

Throttle Position Sensor?

Usually caused by vacuum leaks. You can test the tps. Remove the connector and check resistance with an ohmmeter. Resistance should change smoothly as you open the throttle.

Can you adjust the TPS on a 2001 Corolla? If yes how do you adjust it?

The best way to adjust the TP position sensor is by a scan tool. With the accelerator pedal fully released the value should be between 9.8% - 18%.

I have a problem with my toyota corolla ae110. when i step on the accelerator it delays to pickup the speed.its is an auomatic transmission

Hi.

If the problem is transmission because the gears do not engage at the right time, then check the TPS. The TPS is the throttle position sensor. TPS is located on the throttle body, and detects the way you push the accelerator pedal. Along with speed sensor, the signal from TPS is used by the TCM (transmission control module) to decide when to shift gears. If the TPS is defective, the transmission will shift at the wrong time.
The TPS can be tested reading Volts (or Ohms) at TPS contacts while someone else is slowly pressing the pedal. If there gaps or irregularities in the reading, then the TPS is faulty.

If transmission is OK ensure that the problem is not the engine. An incorrect mixture or injection problems may result in slower performance.

2000 FORD CONTOUR AND WHEN I START IT AND PRESS ON GAS IT BACK FIRES AND TURNS OFF

Is the service engine soon light on? I would suspect, based on your description, the TPS sensor may be open or the temperature sensor may have failed.
When you open the throttle the TPS sends the accelerator pedal information to the engine controller so the engine controller can add fuel and allow you to accelerate. If the TPS does not send the correct throttle position to the engine controller, no fuel is added and the engine stalls.
If the coolant sensor has failed, your fuel mixture will not be correct and engine can stall when accelerating.
If the service engine soon light is on, your mechanic will be able to determine which sensor has failed.
Hope this helps, good luck.

My 2001 galant hesitates on acceleration. changes plugs oil air filter etc.. any thoughts?

a faulty tps sensor will cause hesitation on acceleration.also a loose or broken place in air duct to throttle body will cause hesitation.also clogged fuel injectors and fuel filter.to save money have car scanned.if you have a faulty tps.the scanner will tell you.
