I have 2004 nissan sentra everytime i pump my gas it stops me from pumping it

This car uses a very complex fuel vapor recovery device that can cause this problem and does on a regular basis. You need the dealer to fix this as special testing procedures are required.

2004 nissan sentra

Do the RPM's hold stead when engine is started or does is go up and down? If this is an issue try replacing the check idle valve and the mass airflow sensor. The on board computer could be getting incorrect data from those sensors stating not enough air is entering engine for a proper air/fuel ratio

Hello, I have a 2002 nissan sentra, 1.8 ltr..and the car sundenly has started acting as if it is not getting fuel, sometimes it runs fine for about 15 minutes, stopping and going as it should, then it will...

You will need to run a fuel pressure test on it to see if your fuel pressure is correct. How many miles are on the car and when was the last time the fuel filter was replaced.
