Leaking oil tahoe

August 22 I was heading out of town and sopped by quick lube just to have my fluid levels and tire pressure checked. They added air to tires, water to washer fluid, and said everything else looked good. No oil leaks, and recommended a radiator flush soon. On the 23rd of August I noticed temp gauge going above 210. added water to radiator. No more problems with temp gauge. However I have noticed an oil burning smell over the past week, and oil level low light came on today, it was 2 quarts low and a significant oil leak underneath. No problems before my precautionary stop at the quick lube....No oil change was performed. Any idea what could cause the leak?

SOURCE: heater does not blow hot air until I get up to about 50 mph!

You need to Replace your Thermostat. Getting hot was sending Coolant into the Overflow Tank and it was Evaporating. Seen it before. That Thermostat should take care of this Problem. Please Rate my Resonse! I need all the help I can get! Thanks!

Master cylinder or air in the line

Possibly master cylinder, but usually if you have to add fluid it's probably leaking if your getting fluid on every line but if your not possibly or master cylinder problem

On my 2003 tahao 4.8L 4x4...the pumpkin on the rearend is leaking fluid from the seal and do not know if its synthetic oil or plaiin gear oil. but i have no owners manuel to find type or weight of oil

If you have a positraction unit (both rear wheels turn in the same direction when turned off the ground) You should use synthetic. Otherwise you can use standard 75/90 or 75/140 lube. If it's leaking you may try adding lucas sealer to slow the leak (read instructions for percentage of additive and product application)

The power steering isn't working. The reservoir was empty and I added power steering fluid and it still very hard to steer

YOU HAVE A RUPTURE PRESSURE LINE IF YOU HAVE NO POWER STEERING FLUID IN THE POWER STEERING RESERVOIR.LOCATE LEAK THEN BLEED POWER STEERING SYSTEM BY ADDING POWER STEERING TO RESERVOIR.DONT OVER FILL BY FULL COLD MARK ON POWER STEERING DIP STICK.ADD FLUID TO RESERVOIR WAIT A 2 MINUTES.CHECK FLUID LEVEL AGAIN.WHEN POWER STEERING FLUID LEVEL STOP DROPPING.START ENGINE LET IT RUN FOR 10 SECONDS.THEN TURN OFF ENGINE CHECK POWER STEERING FLUID ADD FLUID IF FLUID LEVEL DROPS. WHEN FLUID LEVEL STOP DROPPING.SAFELY RAISE SUPPORT VECHICLE FRONT WHEELS.START ENGINE.NOW TURN STEERING WHEEL GENTLY FROM STOP TO STOP MEANING LEFT TO RIGHT DONT HOLD IN POSITION.LET THE STOP TO STOP BE QUICK.CHECK POWER STEERING FLUID AFTER YOU HAVE TURN STEERING WHEEL ABOUT 7 STOP TO STOP.WHEN FLUID LEVEL STOP DROPPING YOU AT HOT MARK ON DIP STICK BLEEDING PROCESS COMPLETE.TURN OFF ENGINE LOWER VECHICLE BACK TO GROUND WAIT ABOUT 5 MINUTES CHECK YOUR FLUID LEVEL.IF FLUID LOOKS LIKE A TAN COLOR.YOUR POWER STEERING SYSTEM FULL OF AIR.TURN OFF VECHICLE LET VECHICLE SET A LONG WHILE TO AIR BUBBLES SETTLE DOWN LOOK FOR LEAKS AROUND POWER STEERING PUMP FRONT SEAL AND CHECK FOR LEAKS AROUND POWER STEERING LINES.

Vehicle began to overheat, started wanting to stall, service engine soon light came on

check coolant fluid level, after vehicle is cool allow vehicle to run adding coolant/water till the tank is full, then let it run for one minute and shutoff, allow engine to cool and **** in fluid, and more water and coolant (dextron coolant) and start the vehicle back up after it has cooled complety down. with the cap off the coolant place hand over cap, if you get immediate back pressure this isnt from thermal expansion is from a blown head gasket. also for this check to ensure water pump isnt leaking, because the pressure generated by a blown head gasket will blow out water pump seals, if there is no back pressure, but a leaking water pump, just replace the water pump.

What is required in the service of a 3.0l subaru liberty at 100000kms?

your owners manual will tell you exactly. usually all filters should be changed (oil, air, auto transmission if equipped, fuel, cabin air etc) as well as spark plugs and wires, distributor cap and rotor if equipped, check the belts and hoses as well as the charging system. All fluid levels should be checked and topped off. Check your tire p.s.i. as well.
