My first guess would be the choke is not closing, or you have varnish inside the carb that is clogging up the ports.
Testimonial: "Thanks Stephen, the choke is working. I thought some internal blockage in the carb also.Any ideas how to clear it short of taking apart the carb? Thanks again for your time."

When you turn the key to the on position can you hear the fuel pump turn on? If not, the fuel pump relay has gone bad. Make sure you have at least 5 gallons of fuel in the tank. Check and make sure you have fuel flow to the rail, try cracking the banjo bolt on the fuel rail.
Testimonial: "Thank you. I believe you are on the right track. I failed to mention earlier that this is a EFI model."
