SOURCE: passenger side window

disconnect the battery. remove the door lock knob. remove the bezel around the interior door latch by sliding the bezel towards the front of the car. carefully pry off the air bag logo. There is a torx screw under it - remove said screw. Carefully pry off the two screw covers under the door pull - there are two torx screws under these two covers - remove the screws. With a flexible flat spackling tool, caerfuly run the tool around the door cover, releasing the clips that hold the cover to the door. lift the door cover away from the door, and disconnect the front speakers. disconnect and remove the airbag. Carefully remove the foam liner, exposing the window mechanism.  Carefully pry up and remove the drip rail from the interior side of the window. re-install the air bag (else you'll set an error code) and reconnect the battery. Run the window up or down as needed to expose the connection between the window and the lifter mechanism. disconnect the clips on the two sliders that run in the channel on the metal clip attached to the bottom of the window and carefully press that slider towards the door - which will unclip the slider from the lifter mechanism. Now the window should pull up and out of the car.
replacing the window is the reverse of all this, making sure the window is aligned in the tracks inside the door so that it goes up and down smoothly.
All I need now is to figure out how to adhere that track to the bottom of the window - that's what broke on my car - something that will adhere to the glass and metal!

SOURCE: The rear passenger side window on my 2004 BMW X3

Yes there are online manuals just Google it. First thing to try is

Get some electronic switch cleaner spray and use on the switch see if dirt and dust is an issue.

OR

Try changing the fuse that controls the window switch

If these dont work, could be the motor that drives the window or maybe a cable break which will be very hard to find and at that point its time for an auto electrician.

2002 bmw 330i a/c not blowing cold on passenger side

Internally there are flap valves that close or open the vents.
I'm betting that the passenger side one is stuck closed, or the one that routes the warm air is stuck open

Power window wont work

Probably a bad switch. Try removing the panel and with a 12 - 18 volt drill battery by your side, disconnect or cut the heavy gauge wires going to your motor. Use the drill battery to attempt to raise your window. reverse the connections if the window doesn't do anything. If it raises, reconnect your wires and tape them up and replace your switch

Sound like a window switch.
If you didn't hear any mechanical noises from window before it happened , most likly - switch. If noises were present , might be window regulator or a motor.

Front passenger window does not work

sounds like bad regulator, pull your door panel apart and it is the part that goes onto the motor. long bow shaped thing with cable attached. pop out rivets, (I think 3 rivets) and on the upper side there are 2 nuts that have to be removed. then wiggle it around till you can get it out of the biggest hole in door. Good Luck.
