You said you have fuel pressure but what is it? It has to be 55 psi or it won't even try.

SOURCE: check engine light on

Please check the fuel line for leakage. If there are no leakages, verify that your fuel tank cover is well fixed.

Take care.

SOURCE: My 2003 GMC Sierra Idles Rough And Cut Off

Before replacing the O2 sensors, I would check the fuel pressure. You may also try to have someone pull a trouble code from the powertrain control module to verify why the engine light is on. Do not replace any parts until this is done, otherwise your going to be guessing at the root cause, and it will get expensive with part replacement.

Testimonial: "Trouble code P0101 {Mass Air Flow}and code P0332 Knock Sensor.Thanks i saved a lot money."

2001 GMC SIERRA 1500 4X4 CODES P0171 AND P0174 CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS ON WONT PASS EMISION

Sometimes this is NOT a O/2 sensor issue ,,,,,If the P0171 is combined with the P0174 code, it's very likely that the problem is caused by an intake leak. If there are no intake leaks, the next step is to replace the air filter and clean the air flow meter. If the problem persist the front oxygen (O2) sensor may need to be replaced.
The P0171 code could also be caused may be caused by one or more of the following: debris on MAF sensor causing an incorrect reading, improper oil level, low or high fuel pressure or Engine Control Temperature (ECT) Sensor reading inaccurate,,,,,

I have a 2002 GMC Sierra 1500. 4.3 liter engine. I brought it to autozone and they put the gauge on it and got two codes P0140 and P0300. I had my distributor cap replaced, ignition rotor, plugs ,wires,...

Clean mass air flow sensor with a nonchlronated brake cleaner, install new air filter and check all vacuum lines for leaks then check for vacuum leak around or at intake manifold.Code P0140 is for mass air flow sensor code P0300 is a multiple misfire which more than likely is a vacuum leak possibly intake manifold gaskets leaking.

CHECK ENGINE LIGHT STAYS ON. WAS TOLD IT WAS THE 02 SENSOR/VALVE. WHERE DO I FIND THIS? GMC SIERRA 1500

You should have 5, O2 sensors on your Sirera. What are the DTC codes, each codes will indicate which O2 sensor needs to be addressed, or is this an answer with someone guess what the check engine light is saying.
Thye check engine light could be from a bad O2 sensor to just a bad or loose gas cap to a transmission issues.
Thank you for using fixya and note that Auto Zone and most larger auto parts store will scan DTC codes free of charge.

CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS ON, GOT CODES P0157 2 TIMES,

the bank 2 sensor2 is used to check that your catylitic converter is working on that side of the exhaust. without seeing the car and doing sensor tests, it would be a gamble to say replace the sensor. so you can replace it and see what happens or take it to your favorite shop for further diagnosis
