Rear wiper does not wipe.hear a clicking and over time the battery drains dead.rear washer fluid is still operational.had to disconnect rear motor to stop battery draining.now front wiper works but washer fluid does not work.what now?
Sounds like a problem within the wiper motor not turning off at rest or not reaching it's rest point to be able to turn itself off, probably needs a new motor. Disconnecting it should have no relation to the front washer operation, you can confirm this by reconnecting the wiper motor to try.

my 2004 expedition had same problem, if you take apart the shaft that goes thru the glass it will be full of dirt, clean ,lubricate and reinstall, you may have to replace the O-ring on the shaft. a 20 minute job, very easy fix

There should be a fill cap locate drivers side down on top the drive axle. Check your book or call auto parts store for capicity
SOURCE: Transmission fluid flushing
In normal situations people do not flush their trannys. Your would normally just lower the pand and change the filter and replace the fluid that came out. If you are not having a problem with your tranny this is what I would suggest. As the fluid gets older the tranny gets "used to" the old oil that is in there. When you add new fluids the new fluid contains detergents that clean the internal parts as they circulate. Unless this is the first time you've been to the recommended mileage for changing the fluid (I.E. 30,000 miles) you could flush it. If you do not know the history of changes, or if you are at, lets say 100,000 miles I wouldn't recommend flushing it. When the new detergents clean out the parts they remove gunk that is actually helping the transmission. Don't get me wrong, you don't want a whole lot of gunk, but you also don't want to remove gunk that for example is holding a pin in place, so the pin falls out (just an example) I hope this wasn't too hard to understand, and I hope I answered your question.

u will need to pull the washer fluid tank out and check to see if the tank motor that pumps the fluid is getting 12 volts when the washer switch is pushed, if it is the pump will need to be replaced, if it isn't then the washer switch is defective, this switch is part of the turn signal switch.

fuse for washer pump, can you here the pump, if not then power to pump isn't present. Check the fuse for it.

This is happening to me as well. The shaft on that wiper arm has frozen in place and if you pop the rear window open you could find that you can't move the arm by hand easily.
My battery is dying now too, I will disconnect the motor as you did and see if it helps.
I took the arm out of the window and lubricated it in the winter but it seems to be a weak design.
Good luck.
How did you remove the arm out of the window?
I've tried but can't seem to get it out.
