The dash instruments dont work when the car is running. But if I put a 10amp fuse in the IGN1 slot the dash instruments then work but then the car doesnt start. But if I start the car without the IGN1 fuse in, it starts and then I can put in the IGN1 fuse and the dash instruments work and the car runs fine. But if I shut it off with the IGN1 fuse in and try to restart it it will not start until I take the fuse out again.
I also have a remote start installed onthis vehicle also

Blair, I would take a look at he TPS (throttle position sensor) located on the throttle body. In other words, it sounds as thought sensor when heated is changing its value to "open" or "shorted".
If the car starts OK when cold, use a hair dryer to heat the TPS when the engine is cold to see if you can duplicate the problem.
Also is the a service engine light on? Codes?
If you have a "digital volt/ohm meter" available you can read the variable resistance of the sensor when the problem occurrs to determine if the sensor is defective.

These engines have a timing chain, not a belt. They also have nylon coated guides under the cover that wear. If you change the chain yourself, or have it done, check the guides as well.
