7way- black is 12volt (power), brown, running lights, yellow is left turn signal and stop light, green is right turn signal and stop light, white is ground, blue is brakes, and orange is aux power (can be back up lights, if trailer equipped w/ them). 6way is the same, minus orange wire. I have run into some variations to the above color codes (brown, yellow and green only-sometimes these 3 are different than stated, but only mixed as that group, as to what they control- example would be green is running lights, brown and yellow are turn signal and stop lights, the others should be as stated), if you have any trouble with things not working properly, it may be due to these variations, although the above are pretty standard. If you have an ohm meter you can check as you go (check for power at black wire- should be constant 12v, turn on turn signal and check for power-it will fluctuate from approx. 12 volts to 0 volts as the signal power pulses in the wire) hit the brakes, blue wire should show power, etc. Let me know if you need more help as you go.

2007 FORD EXPeDITION RADIO WIRING COLORS

Question edited for clarity and bad spelling of 'Expedition'.
Question moved to model category.
Quit typing in all CAPS, it is considered SHOUTING and RUDE. It is also harder to read!

This seldom works, and the reason is because the radio system and steering wheel controls are monitored and operated by the Body Control Module on the 5 volt Can Bus System. When you connect your new Android box, the computer won't have a clue what is going on! Be prepared for a whole heap of trouble.

I need to know what the numbers mean on a ford wiring diagram for 2014 thor windsport brake light wiring

Get a shop manual. If you're putting in a trailer harnes, try a uhaul center. They do it all the time and much cheaper than the dealer.

2006 Ford Expedition left trailer brake/turn light not working.

if there is a power problem then the corresponding lights of the vehicle will out as well. If they work check where the harness is plugged in and check the connection.

Trying to connect a teekonsha voyager brake control to a 2003 expedition

Their should be a 6 pin conector that only 4 pins are used somtimes a 5th wire is installed for illumination, don't worrie about using that one. The connector is located in one or two different spots, the most popular place is under the dash on the drivers side just below the steering column the connector is grey. The colors are black or red / blue / green / white and sometimes a small black or brown wire is for illumination, don't worrie about that wire. Their are wiring harnasses for sell to hook the brake control through the conector, but if you do not want to buy an adapter hook the wires as followed: Vehicle Brake Control
Black or Red Black
Blue Blue
Green Red
White White
Black is power in to the brake control
Blue is the trailer brake feed
Green is brake signal
White is Ground for the brake control

2003 ford ranger 7 pin wiring for a trailer all I need is what the colors on the wiring are blue/yellow/green/black/brown/white

White is ground, black is power to trailer battery trickle charge, blue is brakes, green is tail/running lights, red is left turn signal and left brake light, brown is right turn signal and right brake light, yellow is aux power/back up lights. This is the general color coding, there are exceptions, white, black, and blue are pretty much always as listed above, sometimes the others vary. If you find you are having trouble, post any further questions here, I'll be glad to help out. Curt
