Honda Odyssey 2005 sliding doors won't open, beep 3 times

Hi,
I just purchased a used 2005 Honda Odyssey 2 days ago.  I went out to open the doors today, and neither sliding door will open, not even manually.  The van just beeps 3 times.
Any suggestions?
-Leta

If you click once your remote control ,will open just driver side doors. To unlock all of them have to press twice , and then sliders.

If someone was in the driver side with the car in gear and holding the brake, the doors won't open.

My 2005 Honda Odyssey driver's side manual sliding door won't open/unlock - I hear the lock mechanism moving when I activate the power lock/unlock, but the door cannot be opened no matter what i...

More than likely the connecting rod that goes from the door lock actuator to the locking mechanism itself came unattached. These rods are usually held in place by a small piece of plastic that the rods "pop" in and out. The only other thing i can imagine possible is that the door lock itself is actually seized up. In order to attempt to fix this, you would have to remove the door side panel to see the inner workings of the door, and this is quite difficult on most side sliding doors (i have a 2000 pontiac montana w/dual sliding doors). Hope this can help you solve your problem.

I am having trouble with the sliding doors of our 2005 Odyssey. We have owned it since new and have not had any issues with it up to now. It had a recent regular maintenance at the local Honda dealership...

If the battery had been disconnected the doors must be re-homed before they can work properly. The power sliding door control unit must relearn the doors home position so it can use the revolution sensor to keep track of the doors position when moving. To re-home the doors do this: erase the sliding door DTC's by removing No. 7 fuse from the under-dash fuse box then reinstall it. Turn off the main switch for the doors. Make sure the key is in lock (0). Fully close the sliding doors manually. Then turn the ignition switch on (II). then turn the main switch on. Test the power sliding door operation. See if this works. Also there is a problem with moisture freezing on the door position switches which causes the doors to malfunction. -hope this helps. let me know how it goes.

Door will not slide automatically; emits loud beeping noise

Something similar to that was happening with our Odyssey...the beeping when you are driving whether it's ongoing or intermittent is the "safety alarm" letting you know the door is not closed. The power lock is not engaging. What I do when I get the beeping while driving is hit the Door Close button. It causes the door to attempt to engage again. To fix it...we first cleaned out the space below the side running board (kids were hiding crayons and things in there), then looked for any obstructions along the top and bottom tracks. I sprayed a lubricant along the tracks (I'd suggest the dry lube kind...I used WD40 the 1st time and had streaks of it dripping down after driving), use a lube that has a long straw to spray in small places...and spray up into the track that runs the length of the middle of the car. Manually open and shut it a few times to get the tracks lubed, then try it out.
If you press the open OR close button by remote or in the car and get nothing...no movement/no noises/no beeping...then it could be the electrical circuit itself, the signal itself may be impeded...or the motor shot. Have you tried any of these suggestions before?
