Brakes on my 97 mountaineer pulse when i am almost to a complete

I have a 1997 Mountaineer.... when I am almost completely stopped the brakes make like a pulsing noise..... I replaced the ABS sensors on the front wheel hubs. Well replaced the entire from wheel hub assemblies on both sides. No idea what could be causing it. Only happens when I am almost stopped.

This can be from warped rotors. Also try cleaning rear abs sensors. What happens in rear is brake dust does not have momentum at low speeds to fan out away from wheel sensors. Loose debris falls into abs sensors and makes abs activate. Big culprit in rear is emergency brake linings separate and get crushed then foul sensors.

SOURCE: '03 Merc Mountaineer humming noise when turning

If same tires as before & air pressure set correctly, or as usual, a humming when swerving, or turning one way or the other or both, it's usually a pretty good indicator.

SOURCE: In 97 mercury mountaineer, how to turn off "check engine" light

Go to the local parts store, have them check the codes (they will do this for free usually). It will tell you what sensor needs to be checked/replaced. Once the part is replaced, it will clear on its own. They can also reset the code, but it will come back if the trouble persists.

While I was reversing out of a drive way, all of my brakes completely went out and my pedal was all the way to the floor in my 2002 mountaineer. What happened?

Your master cylinder is leaking past the piston inside the master cylinder. DO NOT DRIVE YOUR CAR ANY FURTHER. If you can complete the repair yourself, great. If not call for a flatbed tow truck to get you to a shop. You do not want to run into another vehicle because the brakes don't work the next time you try and apply them. Your brake light should be on in the dash now. It should come on when it senses an uneven line pressure in the hydraulic system. The master cylinder will need to be replaced, or rebuilt with a kit and then the entire system bled.
