1995 Chevrolet K1500 Logo

The driver side window on my 95' Chevy K1500 goes off track if it is rolled completely down. I get the feeling I am missing a stopper or something that should stop the window before it goes all the way down. As in it rolls down till it hits the bottom of the door causing it to go off track. Any ideas?

Yes there should be a stop if the window is power. You may be missing a guide also.
Someone will need to pull the door panel off and take a look at the tracks.

Try spraying silicone lube (generously) down the felt tracks on either end, as well as up sides, and see if that helps. Work window up & down.

SOURCE: cant roll down windows from drivers door

The Master Switch may be bad. Thats the first thing to verify good or bad. It may be a big deal to find a wiring diagram and then verify where voltage is lost. All of the window power goes to the Master Switch,(through the lock out switch) then on to each window. Except for the right front window. The diagram is confusing, it does not appear that the lockout switch turns off the RF passenger window.

Drivers side window wont roll up all the way but goes down normally..

Get a can of spray silicone lubricant, and using the nozzle tube, spray down the front and rear guide tracks of the window. Run the window up and down a few times to distribute the lubricant, and the window should work fine.

Driver side auto window wont stay up

If the motor or track has something that causes a drag or interference, the motor will reverse as a safety feature.
The motor would not know if the drag was a faulty track or a child's arm.
You may have to pull the door panel and check the movement of the glass.

Why does my chevy blazer driver side window shakes so bad when I hit a bump

is this rolled up or down?
Normally the guide tracks have a liner that holds the glass very securely.
If the window rattles when it is rolled down then I would be suspicious that a healthy sized chunk of the liner has broken off of both sides. OR something else is loose in the door perhaps bumping the glass or the liner or perhaps a supporting screw for the track has come loose.
The only way to know for sure is to pull the door panel off and give it a good inspection. Wriggle it as best you can. Nothing should really be loose in there when it comes to window regulators etc.

1990 Passenger window keeps falling off tracks. Had new window replaced because it shattered, but still doesnt roll down right. What is wrong?

Your window has a lower glider that floats on a track, and sometimes when people replace the glass they fail to replace the stopper on the end, which acts as a brake. If you can see the track with the panel off, watch as you roll up the window and see if the rollers stay in the track. Also remember that the glass has a glider glued to its back side to keep the window level as you roll. The most common problem here is the glass slipping off track, and a new track inserted into your window frame will fix that (Dealer Item)

2001 Saab 95 se driver/passenger windows.

A car I owned the left rear window did that. I could pull it up by taking a hold of it while another person held the switch. They told me the problem was the track was made out of plastic and it had broken. They had to replace the track. Yes it was expensive to repair but is ok now.
