1995 lexus sc 300 driver door wont unlock

May need new actuator. Try a slight lubricant like wd40 if that does not work. Try working switch back and forth. They usually start having problems when they get this old. You can have it replaced, but toyota /lexus is notorious for labor intensive repairs with can be costly if you take it to a dealer or very time consuming if you replace the actuator yourself.

1999 Lexus ES300. The front power windows are opening on their own. I park, turn off engine, lock the doors and within a half hour the front windows have opened completely. Any thoughts on this problem?

You have to remove the inside door handle, arm rest and the door trim. The door glass is attached to a track with bolts to the power window regulator. Overtime the cycling of the glass up and down causing vibration has loosen the fasteners. Probably the bolts were not fasten tighten enough at the factory.

Luckily you can open it from the outside.Open it up,remove the inner panel and try to see if it is not just a rusty latch or if a piece of linkage has fallen off.Should be simple enough!

Check your harness on the driverside, between the door and the body frame. The harness sometimes get spliced by the hole in the frame. This would cause the electronics wires to touch (sometimes work/ sometimes don't). GL.

You all need a new door handle.

The outside door handle linkage has come off, probably due to a broken clip inside the door. This needs to be replaced.
