2004 Nissan Xterra - My dash lights and rear running lights are out. The headlights left on alarm does not work either. I have checked all the interior fuses with an Ohm meter and they are good. By the AutoZone electrical schematic diagrams I suspect the problem is a faulty headlight switch on the steering column. What do you think?

SOURCE: Running Lights, Rear Lights and Dash Lights not working

Running lights in front sides of vehicle short out in time. I simply disconnected the plugs found inside the front wheel wells and packed them with grease for time being. When the weather improves I will find the chaffed insulation and repair. Replaced the 15amp fuse found under the hood and shwing, back on the road.

No lights!

Pull your fuses and check to see if they are brown or black. (One at a time) Replace any that are brown. Post again if this is not the problem. They are cheap, $5.00 for 10 or so.
