My 200 Chrysler town and country van was working just fine...and while driving it turned off. ignition turns as if it were out of gas but wont turn on and it keeps killing the 20 amp engine fuse
There is a dead short somewhere linked to that fuse, problem won't be solved until you find what is shorting out that fuse. Atleast that is the first thing to figure out.
I did some digging around if you do a google search on the problem, with the van model year and 20 amp engine fuse you will find all kinds of articles.
Biggest issue I seen pop up was the wire to o2 sensor, shorting out, also that fuse may also connect to the fuel pump and and related circuit. Hopefully that helps point you in the right direction

I doubt if that is the reason your check engine light is on. It is more likely an o2 sensor. However make sure your cap is tight when you add gas and don't leave the engine running while the cap is off. That can trigger the light

Best solution I've ever seen for noisy belts (assuming all pulley components are OK) is - replace belt with Goodyear Gatorback belt. Available at Summit Racing and perhaps JC Whitney, as well as many other places now. Has resolved belt squeal problems on all of our past MOPAR products.
SOURCE: Where is the turn signal fuse or relay located on
Under hood, drivers side, front, fuse box.
SOURCE: The turn signals don't work most of the time,
check your accessory relay. Hopefully it isn't your power module. $1000 fix at chrysler. :(
SOURCE: CHRYSLER town and country mini van turn signal/flasher
I have a 2005 Chrysler T&C. The turn signal would not work at all or activate incorrect side. The switch is easy to remove as described by dukecityman.
Once the switch is of, it has four screws holding it together.I took this apart to find that there was a circuit-board which was contaminated with dirt. wiped it of, put it back together, working fine.
If you take it apart use caution. there are parts on the "top" which will fall out. ( they go right back in) The circuit-board is on the "bottom" half. You really only need to take this part off. (less moving parts)
Your going to replace it anyway, whats the harm?
