The radio blinks constantly, and shut off while i was driving down the road. I parked, shut off the car, and turned it back on, and the radio worked fine. What should I do to stop the blinking?The car is a 2004 Ford Focus zx3.

    Turn acc power on. Find fuse for radio, remove and put back in , go to mode on radio and hit reset.

It could be the removable panel on the radio front. When you drive, the connection of the panel shake and the radio shut down. I had the same problem and just by cleaning the connection and work fine now.

There might be a problem with the alternator, specifically the diode trio that is inside the alternator. Have your charging system checked. You can do it yourself if you have a voltmeter. Start car and check voltage across the battery terminals. You should get 14.5 volts or higher.
