You may have to take a plastic shield off that is under the engine compartment to get a good look at the radiator. The drain plug or petcock should be facing backward at the bottom of the radiator, usually near a bottom corner of the radiator (ie not in the middle bottom)
Radiators usually have a valve/petcock located on the engine side of the radiator down at the bottom. Valve turns like a bolt and antifreeze coolant will drain out into your drainpan. Use care as coolant is poison and needs to be disposed of properly. After radiator has drained, retighten petcock and fill to the appropriate level.
If the engine is cold the fastest way is just to put a big drain pan under the bottom radiator hose and remove it. If the engine is hot there is a petcock on the bottom of the radiator it will be on the side under the hood, either side usually opposite the lower radiator hose.
Should be a drain plug or petcock at the bottom or rear of the radiator or remove the lower radiator hose. If there is a petcock just/drain plug. Generally on this year you would rotate it 1/4 turn and it will start draining. If it doesnt drain there is something inside the radiator. Then you will have to resort to removing the lower radiator hose. If you need further assistance please let me know. Thanks, Midwest-tek
Well you can purchase a Prestone Flushing Kit, that includes a T valve with a cap that you can remove to connect a garden hose to, that you would install in line in one of heater hoses. Install the T valve, connect a garden hose to the T valve, remove the radiator cap and turn on the garden hose, once you have clear water coming out the radiator, turn off the hose and disconnect it and install the T valve cap. Then on the other tank that doesn't have the radiator cap, at the bottom of that tank, is a petcock, unscrew it to drain the radiator. Drain the water out and close the drain and refill the radiator.
You will need to remove the radiator cap. Then you need to locate the petcock (drain plug) on the bottom of the radiator. Remove the petcock by carefully loosening it. You may need to use a pair of pliers but be careful not to break the petcock. When you reinstall the petcock make sure not to over tighten it, it should be snug but not tight.
