Horn wont work and gear shifter locked

My alarm went off on my hands accord. I tried to turn it off by starting the car and unlocking the door. Neither one turned off the alarm. After about 10 minutes it stopped. I could still hear a clicking noise under the hood but no horn sound. Then that stopped on its own. Now the horn doesn't work and the great shifter won't come out of park. Anyone know why our how to fix it?

SOURCE: master door switch? or something else? buzzes when i press lock

ok ur door lock switch isnt going out,,however ur drivers front door lock actuator is going or is already bad...have that replaced..also as far as the end noise buzz u hear , that may be ur a.b.s modulator and accumulator cycleing on and off..it may be empty and or leaking..have the a.b.s modulator and accumulator checked at the dealer..its an expensive fix... ur modulator unit in in the front left or right of the vehicle depending if u have a v6 or 4 cyl. its a square unit with a rectangular brake fluid resevroir and a long tubular cylinder (acummulator)... also identify it by the orange connectors...and the brakelines going to it...common symptom with those accords....they leak alot especially if with high mileage..

SOURCE: Can I stop my horn from sounding when I lock my 2009 Accord

You might can have the dealer program it not to honk, but its just the way the keyless entry works. I've owned 2 accords--an 06 and 08--and both of them honk the horn when the lock button is pressed twice. Pressing the button once will secure the car and arm the alarm. So once click is all you really need. And no your alarm is not malfunctioning.

Central locking has stopped working properly and I can not open any door other than the drivers door and that is with the key. This has been like this since the alarm went off on its own and would not...

The alarm will time out and turn itself off after a minute or two when it is tripped. This turns off the alarm, not just the alarm horn.

Are you saying that you can't unlock a door from the inside by hand?

I changed the battery in my 96 jetta and now it wont start. the engine turns over and the shifter islocked. I think it is the anti theft device.

your new battery is not strong enough. try to replace it with the same capacity as your old battery. Or take it to the dealer service for a better match.

2003 honda accord alarm problem

Check Brake pedal sensor (contact behind pedal), this part tends to break on alot of Hondas it will apear broken most likely. If that's not the issue you could try to check or pull fuses that are associated with the alarm (check owners manual). To overide the shifter there is a small tab next to the shifter itself pop this up with a screwdriver and then depress the tab underneath, while depressing the tab shift the vehicle out of gear. You may ask why the brake pedal sensor? When you change your car into gear from park you have to depress the brake pedal, when you depress the brake pedal the sensor becomed engaged and sends a signal to the cpu which sends a signal to a sensor by your shifter and unlocks it. If the brake pedal sensor is broken or faulty it will not engage properly and there will be no signal sent.

Help! my car is possessed

i may be wrong at this but i think it's your alarm system. headlights, doors and horn all connects to an alarm system (if your alarm system does this) i mean, some alarms, when you unlock or lock your car, the lights turn and horn blows simultaneously with the alarm. if you have an alarm system that seem to malfunction, it may also affect your doors, horn lights etc. have it checked or replaced.

well, as ive said, i may be wrong. =)
