My toyota do not start 'cause a fuel problem, I checked already all the fuses and relays and the pump by itself and everything works ok, I checked the pump with a battery and it does pump gas so I don't know what the problem is
so when the pump is hooked up to the car does it run? if so do you have fuel pressure in the fuel injection rail?so when the pump is hooked up to the car does it run? if so do you have fuel pressure in the fuel injection rail?
If the pump does not run with the key on, check power to the relay as well. Did you check the fuel filter? If the pump does not run with the key on, check power to the relay as well. Did you check the fuel filter?

1. Check the fuel pump fuse: Locate your vehicle's fuse box (usually found under the dashboard or in the engine compartment) and check the fuel pump fuse. If it is blown, replace it with a fuse of the same amperage. If the fuse is fine, proceed to the next step.
2. Check the fuel pump relay: The relay controls the power supply to the fuel pump. You can typically find the fuel pump relay in the fuse box or a separate relay box. To test the relay, you can swap it with an identical relay (such as the horn relay) and see if the fuel pump starts working. If it does, the relay is the problem and needs to be replaced.
3. Inspect the wiring: Damaged or corroded wiring can cause a loss of power to the fuel pump. Check the wiring leading to the fuel pump for any visible damage, corrosion, or loose connections. Repair or replace any damaged wires and clean corroded connections.
4. Test the fuel pump for proper function: If you have access to a multimeter or test light, you can test the fuel pump terminals for power when the ignition is turned on. You should see a voltage for a few seconds as the pump primes. If there's no power at the terminals, the problem could be a faulty ignition switch, fuel pump control module, or a wiring issue.
5. Faulty fuel pump: If all the above steps show that power is reaching the fuel pump, but it is still not working, the pump itself might be faulty and need replacement.
Check the fuel pump relay and associated fuses, swap it with a/c or similar size relay/fuse to rule that out first. If relay checks out check fuel pump, remove injector and turn key inspect for spray, if fuel pump is bad replace it.

Dec 25, 2018 - fuel pump relay in my 94 t4r v6 at is bad. toyota wants \\\ for it. seeing ... with the relay out the truck wont go into 4x4. so what i want to do is figure ...
You don't say if you have checked that the Fuel Pump is working.
1. You need to check that the fuel pump is operating and getting power.. Have someone turn on the ignition (but not start the engine) If you listen near the FP location you should hear the fuel pump run for 3 seconds and stop. If in doubt do this a couple of times until you can hear the pump run and stop.
2. If you cannot hear the pump running check the fuel system related fuses.
3. If the fuses are good check that the relay for the fuel pump you replaced is functioning. Have someone turn the ignition on and off a few times and listen for the click from the relay or put your finger on it.
4. As a final check have a simple fuel pressure test done on the fuel system if not done already. . If everything is running normally and you are getting good fuel pressure then the starting problem will be somewhere else.
How CRANKSHAFT Sensor can cause this. The Car needs a Reference Signal to operate the Pump. If there is no reference Signal, then you will not get the Pump to Stay on.
I would start with the Fuel Pump Relay and Fuel Pump Fuse FIRST...
try taking off the air cleaners air duct that goes to the engine, with the throttle open spary some carburator cleaner into the intake. Spaying for about 10 secs. should be enough. then start it up. if it runs you know you don't have any fuel going to the engine and a fuel pump would be a very possible cause, other causes for no fuel would be a fuse, a relay, or a computer related problem. Good Luck
When you say you have checked the relays and fuses i hope you checked to see if they have power getting to them. Besides that The most frequent cause of problems is simply a bad contact in wiring connectors. Always check that connections are secure. Inspect the contacts for bent pins or corroded. You may also want to inspect the ground side of the circuit. If everything checks out then you have a bad fuel pump.
1. make sure you really have no fuel delivery. open a line convenient for you as in cold start injector or fuel filter, disconnect ignition coil lead and crank away a bit to make sure you're not getting fuel. 2. I assume you're getting spark. 3. check efi fuse in main relay box passenger side inside right fender. if good check that you have juice at the Co relay hidden in the passenger kick plate. its the white-red terminalwhich delivers the current. the Circuit opening relay is really the main enchilada for getting the pump up and adam. 4. still no go. you have to address the Co relay itself. test terminals with ohm tester. also you can jump wire the Bp fP terminals in the diagnostic connector on the side of the main relay and see if the pump goes. 5. and lastly it might be the pump itself
Remove the fuel line from the fuel rail. Put it in a container and turn the key on. If you don't get any fuel then I would look at your fuel filter first and then your pump. The pump should be installed under the back bench seat. In my car the pump gets power from the circuit opening relay not direct from a fuse. I would try and find a wiring diagram if everything else checks out good.
so when the pump is hooked up to the car does it run? if so do you have fuel pressure in the fuel injection rail?
If the pump does not run with the key on, check power to the relay as well. Did you check the fuel filter?
